Our Environment – (Culture)
Friendly and accepting are words other people use to describe Crosspoint. We don't have a dress code. Most people dress casually and comfortably; any style is welcome. You’ll get a hello at the door, and an offer for help. Someone from our “hospitality” team will probably hand you a “weekly information guide”. It will let you know what will happen during the Worship service and some things happening around the church. If you want to get connected, fill out the Communication card that will be in the bulletin. Don't stress, you can check us out without any commitment and without being singled out. You can grab a cup of coffee when you get here and meet some people if you want to, or just reflect on how God might want to connect with you. We have comfortable chairs (no pews!) and you can sit wherever you want. We have an alternative type band instead of a choir. You can just observe in anonymity if you want, or join in the experience of worship if you are moved to. Remember the old offering plate? Well we have baskets. Giving is an act of worship and everyone who attends is encouraged to experience the blessings received through giving. This is a safe place to come with your questions if you don't have a relationship with Christ, or aren't quite sure you even want one. Just come with your curiosity and inquiries. Having a relationship with Jesus Christ isn't an "arrival"; it’s a journey. There are people here who can help you with the road map, if you are interested in the destination.
